Connect + Discuss

NEW EVENT: Connect+Discuss

Let’s kick off National Home Visiting Week by lifting up your voice and vision for the future of the field! We’ve heard from some of you that you would really like a chance to connect with your peers from across the country. In response, we are piloting a monthly Connect+Discuss session.

Join us for a virtual, informal conversation space designed for home visitors and family support professionals to come together, share experiences, and explore the future of home visiting as a meaningful career path. Sessions are available at no cost, but pre-registration will be required and capacity will be limited to the first 100 registrants.

Each Connect+Discuss will be topic-focused. April’s session will be focused on “Home Visiting as a Career Path—How Can We Grow the Field?” This session will take place during #NHVW2025, on Tuesday, April 22 at 12:00pm ET. REGISTER HERE

This 50-minute session is a chance to:

  • Celebrate home visiting as a rewarding and sustainable profession

  • Reflect on challenges and opportunities in the field

  • Be heard, connect, and contribute ideas for growing the workforce

Please note, these are not training sessions. They are a chance to connect and share with your peers. We will have prepared some discussion questions on the topic and then see where the discussion leads us. The target audience is home visitors and supervisors but are open to anyone to join. Find more details on our social media.
