Announcing the National Family Support Certification Exam Study Group
The Institute is excited to announce our first Certification Exam Study Group! Prepare confidently for the National Family Support Certification Exam with our Facilitated Study Group—a guided, supportive space designed to help you succeed.
The National Family Support Certification Exam tests the knowledge of family support professionals in each of the domains outlined in the National Family Support Competency Framework for direct service professionals. The exam has been tested and validated by a team of testing experts to offer a quality and non-discriminatory exam.
Our study sessions will provide strategies for:
How to study effectively
What to expect on exam day
Opportunities to strengthen your understanding of key terminology and core concepts
“You don’t have to prepare alone,” says Shannon Reaves, Institute Director of Education. “Our study group will ease the intimidation of taking the exam and help you travel the road to national certification with tremendous support.”
Study group sessions will take place on the first Thursday of each month 3:00-5:00pm EST beginning in March 2026, continuing through August. Cost is $200. Registration and more details can be found HERE.
