Every day, home visitors across the country do extraordinary work that often goes unnoticed. Now is your opportunity to shine a spotlight on someone who stands out in an already exceptional field. Think about the home visitor who goes above and beyond, builds meaningful relationships with families, inspires colleagues, or makes a lasting difference in their community. We want to hear their story!
A few important reminders:
The deadline is December 11. All nomination forms must be fully completed by the deadline to be considered. If you've started a nomination but haven't finished it, now is the time to get it across the finish line!
Surprise nominations aren't possible. Every nominee must provide signed informed consent before their nomination can be considered complete.
Why the consent requirement? Because we believe in practicing what we preach. Just as we want families to fully understand what they are agreeing to when participating in home visiting, we want our home visitors to understand and agree to participate in this recognition process.
Being named a National Home Visitor of the Year is an incredible experience, but it also means stepping into the spotlight and representing thousands of home visitors across the country. Not everyone will be comfortable with that level of visibility, and that's okay. We want nominees who are genuinely excited and willing to share their stories and represent this remarkable profession.
